The target output of this project was the identification of the leading meat industry stakeholders in South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines to create a Master Database of verified companies that are commercially active in each country. This was followed by the selection and interviewing of leaders of the thirty most important meat industry companies for Irish pork and beef exporters in each country.
The main findings were presented to Bord Bia and the results of the South Korean segment were presented to Irish Delegates on a Trade Mission led by the Irish Minister of Trade in Seoul in June 2019.
